• Hunter House Inn & Restaurant: This semi-casual restaurant features a more upscale menu than most spots on Tybee.

• Marlin Monroe's Surfside Grill: A Caribbean feel and flavor right on the beach make this popular spot notable. Sit on the deck next to the ocean and listen to the live music. Earlier in the evening, the restaurant is kid- friendly.

• Dolphin Reef Oceanfront Restaurant & Sports Bar: Seafood sports bar overlooking the ocean.

• Sundae Café: Serving casual, southern-style seafood, this spot is a local favorite – don't be deceived by the modest exterior.

You'll find more night life on Tybee than on most of the other Sea Islands, with the possible exception of Hilton Head where there's always something going on. Have a drink and check out live music by the water at Café Loco or Marlin Monroe's (above). You can also take your drink and a loved one for an evening stroll along the beach - Tybee Island allows alcohol outdoors so long as it is in a plastic container.
