• Francis Marion Hotel: The Francis Marion Hotel stands tall in the very center of town. Elegant, though lacking the charm of some of the more inn-like hotels, such as Planter's Inn, the prime location of the Francis Marion means you can walk, or take a rickshaw, to all the sights and restaurants. My husband and I stayed at the Francis Marion for New Year's Eve and celebrated First Night in the square in front of the hotel. We loved the location and the hotel itself!
